“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” — Coco Chanel To me, fashion is an everyday form of expression. From the runway to the street, it surrounds and intrigues our world. It is not limited to trends and labels. It is culture, personality, and unique to an individual. Generations create fashion; it is a forever changing movement. My name is Gabrielle Nelson. I am a junior at the Herberger Institute majoring in Art Studies while also earning a certificate in Entrepreneurship from the WP Carey School of Business. I have always been an observer of the world around me and captivated by clothing and creativity. Treasure hunting, creating, photographing, styling and finding inspiration are my ideas of down time. I am fascinated by different eras and cultures, and my style changes from day to day. Fashion blogging has always been a passion of mine. It allows me to inspire and be inspired by sharing my findings and showing off fellow fashion enthusiasts. Photography, illustration, writing, and people are all my muses for La Mode Gabrielle.
